Organized annually by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific, the Asia Pacific Business Forum (APBF) uniquely stands out as the only public-private sector regional dialogue and networking event that effectively and proactively engages businesses committed to sustainable development across Asia and the Pacific.

Since its inception in 2004, the APBF has annually provided an immense opportunity to discuss the role and responsibilities of business in sustainable development and showcase the sustainable solutions business can offer in a variety of sectors to meet the development needs of Asia and the Pacific. The multi-stakeholder setting of the forum has been enabling effective engagement between policymakers, business representatives, international agencies, civil society organizations and academics for over 15 years.
